Lalaine Villafuerte-Abonal

graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines. She is the president of eAsia Outsourcing & Marketing Services , and founder  of Coconut Republic - both companies are based in California. Lalaine has 12 years of experience as a buying agent representing foreign buyers and was elected as the youngest officer and board of director of the Foreign Buyers Association of the Philippines (FOBAP) . She specializes in the sourcing of products made of indigenous materials such as abaca, coconut, bamboo and capiz shell. Other books authored by Lalaine are: “ABACA Philippines”, “101 Lessons of A Buying Agent of Foreign Companies” and “IT Outsourcing Opportunities in the Philippines”. Lalaine and her husband Larry presently reside in Pasadena, California.
